Every subscription gets its own lead time. Give the yearly renewal a week of notice and leave the monthly bill on the day it charges. The reminder itself arrives in the same language as the app.

Lead times are set per subscription. The rest is set once, or built in, and none of it needs PRO.
The hour you pick
Reminders arrive around the time you set in Settings, so a warning lands at breakfast and not at three in the morning.
Lock notifications
On Android, turn this on and a stray swipe can't clear a reminder before you have dealt with it.
Mark as paid automatically
For the direct debits you never touch, Subby can log the payment when the reminder fires.
A warning before a trial converts
Add a subscription as a free trial and the reminder comes before the trial ends, with the price it is about to become.
The charge, spelled out
Each reminder names the amount, the card and the cycle, so you can decide from the notification without opening the app.
Bills too
A bill organizer for everything that repeats.
Rent, insurance, the phone plan and the gym repeat like any subscription, so they go on the same list and get the same reminders.
Any cycle
Weekly to every three years, plus custom cycles such as every 45 days, so a quarterly insurance bill sits next to the monthly rent.
Which card pays
Give each bill a payment method and Insights splits the month by card, so you know what stops if one of them expires.
Categories
Put each bill in a category, and Insights adds up the month by category.
A payment log
Mark a bill paid from the notification and it goes into the log with the date and the amount. The log feeds Insights, and you can export it as CSV.

Missed reminders are the oldest complaint about apps like this one, and old versions of Subby earned their share of it. We rewrote the reminder engine in 2026 around one rule. A reminder that doesn’t arrive is worse than no app at all.

Leave a payment unmarked and Subby keeps reminding you for up to a week. It doesn’t fire once and vanish.

Subby re-checks your reminders whenever you open the app, every few hours in the background, and after any restart, update or time change.
